Ingredients 

Apple Strudel Ingredients

  • 6 cups thinly sliced apples
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup melted vegan butter
  • 1 package phyllo dough

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix apples, sugar, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
  3. Lay out one sheet of phyllo dough, brush with melted vegan butter, and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  4. Repeat with 5 more sheets.
  5. Spread apple mixture along one edge of the dough.
  6. Roll up the dough, tucking in the ends.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and brush with remaining butter.
  8. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
