Ingredients

  • 1 cup aquafaba liquid from a can of chickpeas
  • 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Food coloring optional

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, beat the aquafaba with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gradually add powdered sugar, continuing to beat until glossy.
  5. Fold in almond flour and vanilla extract gently.
  6. Add food coloring if desired.
  7. Pipe small circles onto the baking sheet.
  8. Let them sit for 20 minutes to form a skin.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes.
  10. Let cool before removing from the parchment paper.
