  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato, diced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)

Instructions 

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
  2. Mash the avocado with a fork until you reach your desired consistency.
  3. Add the chopped onion, diced tomato, and lime juice. Mix well.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Stir in chopped cilantro if using.
  6. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
