  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. Slice the onions into rings.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add onions and cook until they start to caramelize, about 10 minutes.
  4. Add balsamic vinegar and brown sugar.
  5. Cook for another 10 minutes until onions are fully caramelized.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
