Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pounds Beef bones preferably with marrow
  • 2 large Carrots chopped
  • 2 stalks Celery chopped
  • 1 large Onion quartered
  • 3 cloves Garlic smashed
  • 2 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper to taste
  • 10 cups Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place beef bones on a baking sheet and roast for 30 minutes.
  2. 2. Transfer roasted bones to a large pot. Add carrots, celery, onion, garlic, apple cider vinegar, salt, pepper, and water.
  3. 3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for at least 4 hours, skimming off any foam.
  4. 4. Strain the broth through a fine-mesh strainer. Discard solids.
  5. 5. Let the broth cool, then refrigerate. Skim off any fat that solidifies on top before using.
