Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can Beer 12 oz
  • 1 whole Chicken about 4 pounds
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Rub the chicken with olive oil, then season with paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Open the beer can and take a few sips (or pour out about ¼ of the beer). Place the beer can in the center of the grill.
  4. Place the chicken on top of the beer can, balancing it so it stands upright.
  5. Close the grill lid and cook for about 90 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Carefully remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before carving.
