Ingredients 

Dough

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Warm water
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 packet Active dry yeast

Filling

  • 1 cup Cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup Onion, chopped
  • 1 cup Carrots, grated
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture. Knead until a smooth dough forms. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour.
  3. In a skillet, sauté onions, carrots, and cabbage until tender. Add soy sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Divide dough into 8 pieces. Roll each piece into a circle, fill with vegetable mixture, and fold to seal.
  5. Place bierocks on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
