Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup sauerkraut
  • 2 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup tomato paste
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, sauté the onion and garlic until soft.
  2. 2. Add the mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture.
  3. 3. Stir in the sauerkraut, cabbage, tomato paste, and vegetable broth.
  4. 4. Add the caraway seeds, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. 5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.
  6. 6. Serve hot.
