  • 1 can black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup corn frozen or canned
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a food processor, combine black beans, corn, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Pulse until well mixed but still slightly chunky.
  2. 2. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  3. 3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly oil it. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and heated through.
  4. 4. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
