Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can Black Beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 medium Sweet Potato peeled and grated
  • ½ cup Bread Crumbs
  • ¼ cup Chopped Cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • ½ teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil for cooking

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a food processor, combine black beans, grated sweet potato, bread crumbs, cilantro, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Pulse until well combined but still slightly chunky.
  3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  5. Transfer patties to a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until firm and cooked through.
  6. Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
