Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup bell pepper finely chopped
  • ½ cup onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, mash the black beans with a fork until mostly smooth.
  2. 2. Add the breadcrumbs, bell pepper, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
  3. 3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  4. 4. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.
  5. 5. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until browned and heated through.
