Ingredients 

Crust

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup coconut oil solid
  • 3 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 pinch salt

Filling

  • 2 cups blackberries fresh
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon basil chopped

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, solid coconut oil, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Press the dough evenly into a tart pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  4. In another bowl, mix blackberries, maple syrup, cornstarch, lemon juice, and chopped basil.
  5. Pour the blackberry mixture into the cooled crust. Bake for another 20 minutes or until the filling is set.
  6. Let the tart cool before serving.
