  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water or plant-based milk
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup optional
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon optional
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions 

  1. In a pot, bring water or plant-based milk to a boil.
  2. Add oats and reduce heat to a simmer.
  3. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Stir in mashed banana, blueberries, maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Cook for another 5 minutes until creamy.
  6. Serve warm.
