Ingredients 

Pickle Ingredients

  • 6 cups cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
  • ½ teaspoon celery seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric

Instructions 

  1. In a large bowl, combine cucumbers and onions.
  2. In a saucepan, combine vinegar, sugar, salt, mustard seeds, celery seeds, and turmeric. Bring to a boil.
  3. Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the cucumber and onion mixture. Let it cool to room temperature.
  4. Transfer to jars and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.
