Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano

Instructions 

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour, salt, olive oil, garlic powder, and oregano. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a rope. Tie each rope into a knot.
  7. Place knots on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
