Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup vegan butter, cold and cubed
  • ¾ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the almond milk and apple cider vinegar. Set aside to curdle.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Cut in the vegan butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Pour in the almond milk mixture and stir until just combined.
  6. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently.
  7. Pat the dough to about 1-inch thickness and cut out biscuits using a round cutter.
  8. Place biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
