Ingredients 

Cannoli Shells

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon vegan butter cold and cubed
  • ¼ cup white wine
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil for frying

Cannoli Filling

  • 1 cup vegan ricotta
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup mini vegan chocolate chips

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add cold vegan butter and mix until crumbly.
  2. Stir in white wine and apple cider vinegar until dough forms. Knead briefly, then wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
  3. Roll out dough thinly and cut into circles. Wrap around cannoli molds and seal edges with water.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry shells until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  5. For the filling, mix vegan ricotta, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Pipe filling into cooled cannoli shells. Serve immediately.
