1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, grated carrots, breadcrumbs, garlic, olive oil, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Pulse until well combined but still slightly chunky.
2. Form the mixture into patties.
3. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a little oil. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
4. Serve hot with your favorite sauce or in a bun as a burger.
