Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 large carrots peeled and chopped
  • 1 can chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoon tahini
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 unit lemon juiced
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for garnish fresh parsley

Instructions 

  1. Steam the carrots until tender, about 10 minutes.
  2. In a food processor, combine the steamed carrots, chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Scoop the hummus into bite-sized portions and garnish with fresh parsley.
