Chicken a la King Recipe
A vegan twist on the classic Chicken a la King, made with plant-based ingredients.

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Vegan Chicken Substitute
- 1 cup Sliced Mushrooms
- 1 cup Diced Bell Peppers
- ¼ cup All-Purpose Flour
- 2 cups Vegetable Broth
- 1 cup Coconut Milk
- 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- to taste Salt and Pepper
1. Heat the large skillet over medium heat. Add the vegan chicken substitute and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
2. In the same skillet, add the mushrooms and bell peppers. Cook until softened.
3. Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and stir well to combine.
4. Gradually add the vegetable broth, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
5. Stir in the coconut milk, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
6. Return the vegan chicken substitute to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes until heated through.
7. Serve hot over rice or pasta.
