Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4 vegan chicken cutlets
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. Mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt in a bowl.
  2. In another bowl, combine almond milk, soy sauce, and maple syrup.
  3. Place panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  4. Dredge each vegan chicken cutlet in the flour mixture, then dip in the almond milk mixture, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry the cutlets until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Drain on paper towels.
