Chicken Tinola Recipe
A comforting Filipino chicken soup with ginger, green papaya, and chili leaves.

Main Ingredients
- 1 kg Chicken cut into pieces
- 1 Green Papaya peeled and sliced
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 Onion chopped
- 2 thumbs Ginger julienned
- 4 cups Water
- 1 bunch Chili Leaves
- 1 tablespoon Fish Sauce
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
1. In a pot, sauté garlic, onion, and ginger until fragrant.
2. Add chicken pieces and cook until they turn white.
3. Pour in water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 30 minutes.
4. Add green papaya and cook until tender.
5. Season with fish sauce, salt, and pepper to taste.
6. Add chili leaves and cook for another 2 minutes.
7. Serve hot and enjoy!
