Ingredients

  • 1 can Chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Liquid smoke
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, maple syrup, liquid smoke, paprika, garlic powder, and olive oil.
  3. Add the drained and rinsed chickpeas to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly.
  4. Spread the chickpeas out on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the chickpeas are crispy.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your vegan chickpea bacon!
