1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, olive oil, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Pulse until well mixed but still slightly chunky.
2. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
3. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a little oil. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and heated through.
