Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • ¼ cup melted coconut oil
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups whole wheat flour
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup vegan chocolate chips

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas.
  3. Add melted coconut oil, maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. Stir until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before slicing.
