Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, or limes) Use organic if possible
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. Peel the citrus fruits and cut the peels into thin strips.
  2. 2. In a saucepan, combine water and sugar. Bring to a boil.
  3. 3. Add the citrus peels to the boiling syrup and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  4. 4. Remove the peels from the syrup and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to dry.
  5. 5. Let the peels dry for a few hours or overnight before serving.
