Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g Blackcurrants fresh or frozen
  • 500 ml Water
  • 500 g Sugar
  • 500 ml Vodka

Instructions 

  1. 1. Combine blackcurrants and water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 20 minutes.
  2. 2. Strain the mixture through a strainer, pressing the berries to extract all the juice.
  3. 3. Return the liquid to the saucepan, add sugar, and simmer until the sugar is dissolved.
  4. 4. Remove from heat and let cool. Stir in vodka.
  5. 5. Pour into a bottle and store in a cool, dark place.
