Duxelles Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Mushrooms finely chopped
- 1 medium Shallot finely chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Thyme chopped
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
- 1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. 
- 2. Add the shallot and garlic, and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. 
- 3. Add the mushrooms, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms release their moisture and it evaporates, about 15 minutes. 
- 4. Continue to cook until the mixture is dry and browned, about 5 more minutes. 
- 5. Remove from heat and let cool. Use as desired.
