Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup ground egusi seeds
  • 0.5 cup palm oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • 2 cups chopped spinach
  • 0.5 cup ground crayfish (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper
  • to taste Salt

Instructions 

  1. Heat palm oil in a pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until translucent.
  3. Stir in ground egusi seeds and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Add vegetable broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Add chopped spinach, ground crayfish (if using), ground pepper, and salt.
  7. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
