Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups warm water
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup baking soda
  • ¼ cup everything bagel seasoning

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Knead until smooth.
  4. Divide dough into 8 pieces. Roll each piece into a rope and shape into a pretzel.
  5. Boil water and baking soda in a large pot. Boil each pretzel for 30 seconds.
  6. Place pretzels on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
