Ingredients 

Falafel Ingredients

  • 1 cup Chickpeas canned or cooked
  • ½ cup Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • ¼ cup Parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Coriander
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 2 tablespoon Flour
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil for frying

Wrap Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Tortillas
  • 1 cup Lettuce shredded
  • 1 cup Tomatoes diced
  • ½ cup Cucumber diced
  • ¼ cup Tahini Sauce

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, baking powder, and flour. Process until well combined but not pureed.
  2. 2. Form the mixture into small patties or balls.
  3. 3. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the falafel patties until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. 4. Warm the tortillas in a dry pan or microwave.
  5. 5. Assemble the wraps by placing a few falafel patties on each tortilla, then topping with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, and a drizzle of tahini sauce.
  6. 6. Roll up the tortillas and serve immediately.
