Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu pressed and cut into strips
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup non-dairy milk

Mango Salsa

  • 1 cup diced mango
  • ½ cup diced red onion
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 pinch salt

Tacos

  • 8 pieces small corn tortillas

Instructions 

  1. 1. Press and cut tofu into strips.
  2. 2. In a bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. 3. Coat tofu strips in flour, then dip in non-dairy milk, and finally coat with panko mixture.
  4. 4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook tofu strips until golden brown.
  5. 5. In a bowl, combine diced mango, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, and salt to make the mango salsa.
  6. 6. Warm the corn tortillas in a skillet.
  7. 7. Assemble the tacos by placing tofu strips in tortillas and topping with mango salsa.
