French Bread Rolls Recipe

- 1 cup Warm Water
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Active Dry Yeast
- 2.5 cups Bread Flour
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
1. In a large mixing bowl, dissolve sugar in warm water, then stir in yeast. Allow to proof until yeast resembles a creamy foam.
2. Mix in flour, salt, and oil. Knead dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Place in a well-oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and allow to rise until doubled in volume, about 1 hour.
3. Punch down the dough. Divide into 12 equal pieces, and form into rounds. Place on lightly greased baking sheets. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 40 minutes.
4. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
