Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Vegan butter, melted
  • ¼ cup Plant-based milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease the madeleine pan with vegan butter or oil.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the melted vegan butter, plant-based milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until smooth. Do not overmix.
  5. Spoon the batter into the madeleine pan, filling each mold about ¾ full.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
