- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Non-dairy milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- as needed Vegetable oil for frying
- as needed Powdered sugar for dusting
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add the non-dairy milk and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Pour the batter into a squeeze bottle. Squeeze the batter into the hot oil in a circular motion to form a funnel cake.
Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
