Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Non-dairy milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • as needed Vegetable oil for frying
  • as needed Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Add the non-dairy milk and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Pour the batter into a squeeze bottle. Squeeze the batter into the hot oil in a circular motion to form a funnel cake.
  5. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  6. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
