Garlic Lemon Asparagus
A simple and delicious vegan side dish featuring fresh asparagus with garlic and lemon.

Main Ingredients
- 1 bunch asparagus trimmed
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper freshly ground
Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the asparagus and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender but still crisp.
Stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Serve immediately.
