1. Boil the potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.

3. For the vegan steak, mix the vital wheat gluten and nutritional yeast in a bowl. In another bowl, mix the vegetable broth, soy sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients and knead for a few minutes until a dough forms. Shape into steaks.
5. Cook the steaks in a skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side until browned.
