Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup orzo
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup nutritional yeast for the 'Parmesan' flavor
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • optional Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions 

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add orzo to the pan and stir to coat with the oil and garlic.
  3. Pour in the vegetable broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until orzo is tender and liquid is absorbed.
  4. Stir in nutritional yeast, salt, and pepper.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
