Instructions
1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, maple syrup, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
3. Add chickpeas to the pan and cook for 5 minutes.
4. Pour the sauce mixture into the pan and cook until it thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
5. Garnish with green onions and serve with cooked rice and steamed broccoli.
