  • 2 cups water
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup optional

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
  2. 2. Add sliced ginger and ground turmeric. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. 3. Strain the tea into teacups.
  4. 4. Add lemon juice and maple syrup (if using). Stir well.
  5. 5. Serve hot and enjoy!
