Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup molasses
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine brown sugar, molasses, maple syrup, and melted coconut oil.
  4. Gradually add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, mixing until well combined.
  5. Press dough into a pie dish or tart pan to form the crust.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes or until firm.
  7. Let cool before filling.
