  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer.
  3. Stir in brown sugar, spices, and salt.
  4. Cook until rice is tender and mixture thickens.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract.
  6. Serve warm or chilled.
