Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • ½ cup Molasses
  • 1 tablespoon Ground Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Cloves
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions 

  1. Combine water, brown sugar, and molasses in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Add ground ginger, cinnamon, and cloves. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Strain the syrup into a jar and let it cool before using.
