Goat Cheese and Fig Brownies
These brownies combine the tangy flavor of goat cheese with the sweetness of figs for a unique twist on a classic dessert.

Brownie Batter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup dried figs, chopped
Goat Cheese Swirl
- 4 oz goat cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
Add vegetable oil and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
Fold in the chopped figs.
In another bowl, mix the softened goat cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan. Drop spoonfuls of the goat cheese mixture over the batter. Pour the remaining brownie batter on top and swirl with a knife.
Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
