Ingredients 

Cake Base

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • ¼ cup Vegan butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Topping

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Vegan butter, melted
  • ¼ cup Non-dairy milk
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, melted vegan butter, baking powder, and salt for the cake base. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
  4. In another bowl, mix together the sugar, melted vegan butter, non-dairy milk, cornstarch, vanilla extract, and salt for the topping. Pour over the cake base.
  5. Bake for 35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and slightly firm.
  6. Let it cool before serving. Enjoy!
