Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews soaked in water for at least 4 hours
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cup nutritional yeast
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon tapioca starch

Instructions 

  1. 1. Drain and rinse the soaked cashews.
  2. 2. In a blender, combine cashews, water, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Blend until smooth.
  3. 3. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and add the tapioca starch. Stir well.
  4. 4. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture becomes thick and stretchy, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. 5. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
