1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm plant-based milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 10 minutes until frothy.
2. Add melted vegan butter, salt, and cinnamon to the yeast mixture. Gradually add flour and mix until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Add raisins and knead until evenly distributed.
4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
5. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a ball and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
6. For the cross, mix flour and water to form a thick paste. Pipe the paste in a cross shape on each bun.
7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. While the buns are baking, heat apricot jam and water for the glaze.
8. Brush the hot buns with the glaze as soon as they come out of the oven. Let them cool on a wire rack.
