Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup textured vegetable protein (TVP)
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. Rehydrate TVP in vegetable broth for 10 minutes.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  3. Add fennel seeds, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, oregano, and basil. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add rehydrated TVP and soy sauce. Cook for 10-15 minutes until browned.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
