Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon water

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and gochujang.
  2. 2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. 3. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry.
  4. 4. Add the slurry to the saucepan and stir well. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. 5. Remove from heat and let cool. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
