Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Textured Vegetable Protein (TVP)
  • 1 cup Hot Water
  • 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
  • 2 tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, minced
  • 1 cup Cooked Rice
  • 1 cup Chopped Green Onions
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine TVP and hot water. Let it sit for 5 minutes to rehydrate.
  2. 2. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  3. 3. Add rehydrated TVP to the skillet. Stir in soy sauce and brown sugar. Cook for 5-7 minutes until TVP is well coated and heated through.
  4. 4. Serve the TVP mixture over cooked rice. Top with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
